Unseen Battles: The Importance of Mandatory TBI Screening for Combat Veterans
Category: Miscellaneous
This video explores the importance of mandatory TBI screening for combat veterans. Transitioning from military service to civilian life presents numerous challenges for veterans, particularly those who have experienced combat. One significant concern is the potential for Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), often resulting from exposure to explosive blasts or other combat-related incidents. Recognizing the critical importance of early detection, the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) mandates TBI screenings for veterans utilizing VA health care services who have served in combat operations.
